Linxaro is a typeface that bridges the geographical and thematic elements
of Frankenstein’s story, connecting the cities of Geneva and Ingolstadt. The
diagonal line between these two locations inspired the angles used in the serifs
and letter details throughout the font. The entire typeface is designed with this
unique diagonal angle, echoing the journey of Victor Frankenstein from his
homeland in Geneva to his studies in Ingolstadt. This typeface not only embodies
the physical journey but also represents the conceptual voyage of creation
and discovery, much like the narrative of Frankenstein. By incorporating the
geographical and thematic elements of Shelley’s novel, Linxaro offers a fresh
and abstract perspective on the classic tale, ensuring that each use of the
typeface resonates with the underlying story of connection, ambition, and the
